Pay Period Settings

Pay period is the recurring length of time over which employee working time of the organization is calculated and the salary is paid accordingly. The pay period required for salary calculation can vary according to each organization requirements.

You can add salary pay period by following the simple steps given below:

  • Start by clicking on Salary> Pay Period Settings
  • Click Add Salary Pay Period
  • Follow the wizard to enter the salary period name and salary period.
  • Salary period name: Enter the name of the salary pay period. For eg. you can define the pay period from 1st to 30th of a month as ‘monthly payment’.
  • Set up the custom start and end date for the pay period. Make sure to select the end date first.
  • Click save to add the salary pay period required for the organization.

You can change the status of the pay period by enabling/disabling it. Select the required pay period and click Edit to edit the pay period as required.
